If you’re not familiar with the #becrueltyfree campaign, it is a worldwide campaign being run by the Humane Society International with the aim of ending animal testing on cosmetics globally. The campaign is being run in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, the European Union, India, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Taiwan, and the United States.
In Canada they had a number of marketing activities going on to spread awareness of animal testing in Canada, including posting ads in the TTC. I got to see these on the subway trains and snagged this picture.
For the #BeCrueltyFree week, they have asked bloggers and vloggers to contribute content for the campaign to raise awareness on animal testing in the cosmetic industry. I will be blogging throughout the week on various topics surrounding animal testing and hope that you will support this campaign and share cruelty-free content as well.
