I purchased the Vasanti Eye Wonders Bonus Kit which was an amazing deal because not only did the kit save me $42, I also loved all of the products that came in it. Their face exfoliating scrub, Brighten Up!, was no exception. This is an excellent exfoliater and the best once I’ve used so far. I cannot rave about this enough and I highly recommend it for anyone with dry, flaky skin.

It has incredibly tiny beads and the paste is filled to the brim with them. You can really feel the beads working on your skin and it buffs away all of my dry skin flakes leaving my skin soft and smooth. It also doesn’t make my face red after so it reassures me that it’s not too harsh on my skin by creating micro trears, which is what many lower end exfoliaters tend to do. Vasanti recommends that the product shouldn’t be used more than 3-5 times a week, and I agree. Do not get carried away with this product! It’s a very effective exfoliater and does not need to be used on a daily basis. I personally use it every other day and only two days in a row if my skin is exceptionally flaky and tend to focus on my nose and cheeks, which is where I experience dryness the most.

This is how much I use on my face. Keep in mind I have small hands and my index finger is 12cm wide and 65cm long. The picture doesn’t do a good job of showing how dense the paste is with beads, but it is. They are much more apparent in person.

This product is pricey at $34 CAD for a 120ml bottle, but it is honestly worth it. A little goes a long way. I’ve had my trial bottle for a month now and I still have plenty left. Once I’m running low I am planning on getting the full size bottle. According to Vasanti’s website, this bottle should last you 4-6 months. I’m guessing that I won’t need to use it as often in the summer since my skin isn’t as dry, so it may last me longer than that.
